Artist of the Day
Brenda Kennedy

ALNF Secretary — Brenda is an active member of the Art League of North Florida and the Gateway Art Gallery. A skilled pastel artist and teacher, she loves sharing her knowledge and helping students discover their own creative style. She also works in watercolor, colored pencil, watercolor pencils, and creates whimsical painted glass bottles with gallery glass acrylics. Brenda’s award-winning work is known for its vibrant colors and strong composition. She teaches soft pastel, watercolor pencil, and occasional tea bag painting classes at the Gallery.
In addition to volunteering at the Gallery and serving as Secretary on the Art League’s Board of Directors, Brenda plays a key role with the Youth Art League. Over the past year, she has helped the program expand, working with fellow volunteers to give young artists more opportunities to learn and grow. Supporting the next generation of artists is one of her favorite parts of Gallery life, and she is proud to see YAL flourishing.
