Susie Larson is a skilled ceramic artist in Lake City, Florida, best known for her striking raku-fired pottery. Raku’s dramatic, reduction-firing process brings unpredictability and stunning surface effects to her work—crackle glazes, smoky textures, and metallic flashes that make each piece truly one of a kind.
Alongside her pottery, Susie creates unique clay beads and enjoys teaching others how to shape and design their own. Her classes offer a relaxed, hands-on way for people to explore working with clay on a smaller scale.
Through her artwork and warm presence in the local art scene, Susie brings creativity, craftsmanship, and a touch of the unexpected to Lake City’s vibrant arts community.
