Brenda Kennedy is an active member of the Art League of North Florida and the Gateway Art Gallery. She is a dedicated artist and teacher who enjoys sharing her knowledge of the craft with others. Kennedy is a highly-skilled pastel artist, and she loves teaching her students the basics of the medium. She has a passion for helping her students develop their own unique style and technique. She also works in watercolor, colored pencil, and watercolor pencils, in addition to painting beautiful and whimsical designs on glass bottles with gallery glass acrylic paints.
Brenda volunteers her time at the gallery, helping out with various events and necessary duties. In addition to teaching classes, Brenda also serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Art League of North Florida. She is a passionate advocate for the arts and believes in the power of art to bring people together. She works hard to promote the Art League’s mission and make sure that the organization is able to provide quality programming to its members. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and has won numerous awards for her work, which is full of vibrant colors, strong composition, and captivating subject matter.
