‘Tis the season to be jolly, and what better way to usher in the holiday spirit than by joining us for the festivities at our 4th Annual Mistletoe Magic holiday event? This year promises to be our most magical yet, as we welcome an array of talented crafters and unveil an abundance of art and gifts perfect for the holiday season.
Mark your calendars because our Open House is set to take place on November 24th-25th, welcoming visitors all day from 10 AM to 6 PM. As you step through the doors of the Gateway Art Gallery, you’ll be transported into a winter wonderland filled with holiday cheer and artistic treasures. One of the highlights of this year’s event is the inclusion of several new crafters, each bringing their unique talents and creations to make your holiday shopping experience truly special. We have handcrafted ornaments, artisan jewelry, hand-made pet toys and accessories, and one-of-a-kind artworks—there’s something for everyone on your list!
But Mistletoe Magic isn’t JUST about shopping—it’s an immersive experience for the whole family! As you peruse the gallery, indulge in the festive atmosphere with complimentary cocoa, cookies, popcorn, and self-serve coffee. For an extra dose of holiday enchantment, make sure to see our Christmas village, a whimsical display that captures the magic of the season. Marvel at the intricate details of miniature holiday scenes that will transport you to a world of joy and wonder. Thanks to the generosity of the Lake City Train Club, we are once again thrilled to feature the vintage train display on loan for the duration of the event. Watch with delight as the train winds its way through a snowy landscape, adding an extra touch of nostalgia to your Mistletoe Magic experience. The backdrop was painted by some of our Youth Art League members, with guidance and help from artist Benjamin Ragland.
As we come together to celebrate art, craftsmanship, and the joy of giving, Gateway Art Gallery’s 4th Annual Mistletoe Magic event promises to be a festive occasion like no other.
