We had a wonderful March monthly membership luncheon here at the Gallery, and we’re excited to share some of the highlights here with you. Our guest speaker, John Larner, gave an amazing presentation on plein air painting. He shared his techniques, tips, and tricks with us, and answered many questions from attendees. We were all so impressed with his craft and his passion for painting! We’re also thrilled to announce that John has generously donated the piece he painted at this meeting to the Gallery, to be auctioned at our upcoming Mother’s Day Tea fundraising event. Don’t miss your chance to bid on this beautiful work of art!
In addition, John will be teaching a plein air workshop in May. If you’re interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity, please keep an eye on our website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram. We’ll post updated information as the event draws near.
We also want to give a big shoutout to our wonderful food sponsors: Frankie’s Place provided delicious lasagna, garlic knots, and salad for our attendees, and ALNF volunteers Sheri Carder and Brenda Kennedy made some DELICIOUS desserts. Thank you all so much for your contributions! (If you or your business are interested in providing food for future luncheons, please get in touch with our membership chairperson, Susan Kroh. We’d love to work with you!)
Thanks again to everyone who attended our March luncheon. We had a great time, and we hope to see you all again at our next event!
Mark your calendars for 5pm Friday, April 7th and come meet our April Featured Artist, Joanna McNally.
