Current Volunteer Opportunities:
- YAL Assistant — This position requires 2.5 hours on the 2nd and/or 4th Saturday of each month, beginning at 9:45 am, assisting our YAL Instructors. This may include helping to set up before class, breaking down after class, and assisting students as needed while class is in session. You do not need to be an artist to help in this capacity. There is a background check requirement.
- Food Coordinator — Overseeing the communication with our food providers to coordinate provisions for our in-house events. Includes making sure we have enough food, but also plates, utensils, and napkins, etc. for upcoming events when they are needed. Usually once per month.
- Hanging Around Assistant — assist our Hanging Around coordinator with swapping out and transporting art for our Hanging Around art rental program. This is a quarterly task and does not require any heavy lifting but may require going up and down a ladder.
- Sunshine Coordinator — Send birthday greetings, thank-you notes, condolences/flowers to bereaved ALNF and community members, and other related activities.
